Parent Terms of Use

1. Your account

Your Acorn & Orbit parent account lets you receive your child's information from their school, communicate with the school, view and pay invoices, and manage your consents. You must keep your sign-in details confidential.

2. The school relationship

Your contract for the educational service is with your child's school — not with Acorn & Orbit. A&O provides the software that supports that relationship.

3. Content you upload

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. your profile photo, messages, documents). By uploading you grant the school and A&O the licence necessary to make the platform work.

4. Communications

Transactional notifications (invoices, child reports, urgent school notices) are sent regardless of marketing-consent settings. You may opt out of optional marketing communications at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Your use is also governed by the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Termination

You can close your account at any time. Records the school must retain by law remain with the school as Responsible Party.
